A checked connection in the source catalog
A Verified handle label means the shared source currently supplies an eligible Telegram account with a working business connection and a username. The website reads that eligibility from the source; it does not duplicate the rule or infer eligibility from a photograph.
Source eligibility includes an active persona, an enabled business connection with reply permission, a username and editorial visibility. Records representing the same source account are collapsed before the public catalog is supplied.
The limits of the label
This is not a government-ID check, a promise of a human operator, a live-availability signal or a guarantee that an account will reply. It does not establish the identity of the person in a photograph or validate every statement in a description.
Other platforms have their own contact labels. Owner-confirmed Kik usernames, where shown, are separate owner-supplied information. A verified Telegram connection does not automatically verify accounts on other networks.
Imported records stay visibly unverified
